We are currently seeking an experienced Developer for our client in Luxembourg, who is looking to build a platform for the management and analysis of patient hospital data in a federated and distributed cross-border setup. The ideal candidate will have a Master's degree in an IT related field, at least 4 years of professional experience as a software developer, excellent knowledge of federated and distributed software architecture, and proficiency in Python or Java.

As a Developer for our client in Luxembourg, you will be responsible for the design and implementation of a platform for the management and analysis of patient hospital data in a federated and distributed cross-border setup. You will work with a team of experts in the field, contributing to the development of cutting-edge solutions that will have a significant impact on the healthcare industry. Key responsibilities will include:
- Design and implementation of the platform following industry best practices
- Navigation of large and complex networks of systems
- Contribution to the development of cutting-edge solutions
- Provision of technical guidance and expertise to internal and external partners
- Collaboration with interdisciplinary teams
We are looking for a candidate with the following qualifications:
Mandatory:
- University Master's degree, ideally in an IT related field
- At least 4 years of professional experience as a software developer
- Excellent knowledge of federated and distributed software architecture
- Strong knowledge of Python or Java
- Strong experience with authentication and authorization solutions (OIDC, OAuth2, ...), especially in a federated environment
- Experience with Kubernetes
- Experience with cloud technologies
- Strong knowledge of the professional software development cycle, starting with requirements collection all the way to a stable and usable product
- Experience with git
- Experience with testing (unit, integration, e2e)
- Excellent communication skills, the ability to clearly articulate the business and technical needs, working within an interdisciplinary setting, communicating with internal and external partners
- English fluent
Optional:
- Prior experience in the bioinformatics field
- Experience with Golang
- Experience with continuous integration and delivery
