Full-Time Editor for ELT Publications
To support our growth in Hong Kong, we are now inviting editors to work with us. We are looking for candidates with experience in teaching or educational publishing in Hong Kong . The positions are open to candidates in the UK and Hong Kong. The job location is in our office in the Kwun Tong district of Hong Kong.
Responsibilities
l Plan, design and develop English Language Teaching (ELT) publications of the highest possible quality
l Carry out drafting tasks for publications and produce high-quality work which meets our editorial standards. The materials range from primary to junior and senior secondary levels.
l Manage the editorial process to ensure all material is produced on time and to budget
l Collaborate with marketing teams in market research, school visits, promotion and sales activities
l Collaborate with production teams on publishing and multimedia productions
Job Requirements
l University graduate or above in English Language or in a discipline related to the subject
l Experience in teaching or educational publishing
l Possess pedagogical knowledge and curriculum knowledge of Hong Kong
l Being familiar with public exam requirements in Hong Kong is an advantage
l Good computer knowledge (Microsoft Office)
