We are delighted to be recruiting for a Graphic Design Manager, the successful candidate will work across all RARE Restaurant brands, such as Gaucho, M Restaurants, The Crane Tap, Meat & Bun etc. reporting into the Group Marketing Director and has one direct report, a Junior Graphic Designer.
The Graphic Design Manager will work on a variety of projects and activities: menu design, campaign creation, website graphics, advertising campaigns, POS for the brands and multi-site individual restaurants. This can include a fast moving collateral suite, advertisements including print and digital collateral, posters, product packaging, exhibitions and displays, corporate communications and corporate identity.
Candidate Requirements for Graphic Design Manager:
- A degree in graphic design, or similar qualifications
- 3-5+ years Professional design experience in Hospitality
- Competence in all the usual graphics design programs (Adobe Photoshop, Adobe InDesign, Adobe Illustrator) as well as MS Office (PowerPoint, Outlook, Word, Excel)
- Competence in moving image programs (Adobe After Effects, Premiere Pro)
- Strong presentation skills. Great attention to detail and execution
- The ability to not only follow and deliver on a brief but a desire to expand concepts - adding your own unique stamp to the process
- Good understanding of artwork specification requirements for all printed and static digital mediums
- Have a great portfolio showcasing unique creative ideas and passion for design
- Strong understanding of design principles, typography and layout
- Great organisational skills, reliability, and flexibility
- Great communication skills, must be a team player and highly motivated
- Able to work in a fast-paced and hardworking environment
- Ability to multi-task. Be comfortable working on multiple projects and tight deadlines
Desired requirements for the Graphic Design Manager:
