Human Resources Administrator [New Zealand]


 

Join our Human Resources team as our HR Administrator and provide proactive front-line HR administration and recruitment support to the HR team, Corporate Office and Processing Sites across New Zealand.

The purpose of the position is to deliver a professional HR service to continuously improve and develop service delivery. A key focus of this role will be to manage our HR administration and provide credible and efficient administration support to the team. This role will suit a team player, who has an eye for detail, enjoys multi-tasking and is comfortable working at a fast pace.

Duties and Responsibilities will include:

  • Prepare contracts and manage new employee documentation for waged and salaried staff
  • Maintain accurate records of all candidate information and recruitment activities
  • Prepare onboarding plans and collate new joiner packs, work closely with reporting managers and relevant HR Manager to prepare full and successful on-boarding experience
  • Support and back up the National Recruitment Manager with ANZCO Foods Immigration Employer Accreditation and its legal requirements including providing reporting and analysis and implementing new processes as required
  • Provide support the local and off shore recruitment programs
  • Oversee maintenance and updates of all HR documentation and data including information platforms holding HR data according to privacy and data protection requirements
  • Update and maintain the templates for the ANZCO documentation for new and terminating employees
  • Build and develop strong relationships with site administrators and the wider HR team
  • Produce reports and conduct audits as and when required
  • Staying up to date with best practices and current employment law to ensure that HR practices comply with current law
  • Coordinate pre-employment checks, such as background checks, medical checks, and visa applications.
  • Assist with any HR administrative duties and HR projects to support the HR team

Skills and Experience we are looking for:

  • A degree in HR or related field
  • 1-2 years experience in an HR administration/coordination role
  • Experience of immigration processes will be beneficial
  • Ability to prioritise and multi-task and be comfortable working at a fast pace
  • Intermediate to advanced, word, excel and PowerPoint and the use of technology tools
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Demonstrated experience making a contribution to continual business improvement practices.
  • Demonstrated ability to build relationships with a proactive approach to service delivery and solutions
  • Demonstrate a professional and confidential approach
