The position is part of the Product Professional Services team who will assist with new opportunities from a client facing and specialist technical standpoint ensuring successful solution designs and customer satisfaction. The Technical Partner Consultant role will report into the Integration Manager and will be responsible for working with Elavon’ s Partners and supporting integration of Partner Gateways and development of ongoing changes to same. Management of Compliance items arising with management of all relevant issues both internally and externally.
The Specifications consultant will collaboratively work with the SPS Consulting Team, Relationship Managers, Product Certification team and broader Business Development departments.
The primary focus of this role is to provide accuracy & complete technical development and certification support for our Partners by analysing protocol requirements and scheme mandated changes, and work with internal project teams to deliver support to our Partners and the wider business. Together with insight to our customers and colleagues, as part of the technical partner and integration management team we build relationships and development engagement with our Partners. This role will lead to broader high-profile customer & strategic engagements as a future career path.
Duties and Responsibilities include:
- Work with our Partners to develop complaint and appropriate solutions for transaction processing.
- Deliver in collaboration with other Elavon departments, Network connectivity, multiple file processing as required for a given solution.
- Perform gap analysis and raise internal projects to improve specification delivery and support.
- Proactively promote and deliver the best functionality, recommend the best method of integration for our partners to maximise our ability to do business.
- Represent Elavon on Working Groups which maintain third party specifications.
- Provide support and expertise to other departments on the impacts of future specification updates, project implementations and new scheme mandates.
- Articulate technology and product propositions to both business and technical users internally and externally.
- Co-ordinate closely with sales and internal teams to align the solution design with the customer’s business requirements.
- Produce high quality internal and customer facing collateral.
- Work flexible hours to ensure a task is completed in line with internal and Customer deadlines.

Knowledge, Skills & Qualifications
- Good qualification in a technical subject, and/or equivalent work experience, product certification experience useful.
- Experience in large customer engagements which require the ability to work with a customer to become a trusted advisor.
- Strong customer focus. High sense of customer service and service quality.
- Ability to develop effective working relationships internally at a variety of levels and work closely with commercial departments such as Tech Design, Operations and Product Development.
- Team working skills are paramount, but ability to work remotely also critical.
- Disposable, flexible, resourceful and able to work under critical conditions.
- Ability to prioritise work accordingly.
- Strong interpersonal, communications skills with excellent presentation skills and ability to communicate with all levels of people.
