Tax Specialist [South Africa]

 

Duties:

• Tax policies and process improvement

• Preparation and filing of corporate income tax returns for the group companies
• Identification of tax issues or changes to legislation affecting the group

• Ensuring that Dividends, Royalty and Interest Withholding tax returns are prepared and filed in a timely manner

Job Experience & Skills Required:

Qualifications:

• Matric (Grade 12)
• BCom degree with Tax as specialization

Experience:

• At least 3 years experience in a similar role
• A need to understand Tax in other countries, eg. Africa

• Ability to present information and share knowledge
• Demonstrated analytical and problem solving skills

Skills & Competencies:

• Strong financial acumen
• Sense of urgency
• Can take initiative
• Strong leader
