Who we are: NORNORM is a start-up with backing from one of the largest players in the furnishing industry and several growth equity investment firms. The role
We are looking for a full-time Accounting Controller (f/m/d) who can strengthen our Financial team in Denmark, and help us make an impact!
Your main responsibilities include:
- Day-to-day bookkeeping and assisting with payroll
- VAT filing
- Inter-company reconciliation
- Monthly closing
- Help prepare audit material
You will also be expected to:
- Be well-structured and organised
- Able to navigate in a fast-growing environment
- Prioritise your tasks and meet deadlines
- Contribute to the development of our accounting function
- Occasional travels to our other locations (Netherlands, Germany, Sweden)
You bring the following qualifications:
We imagine that you have a relevant university degree and at least 2 years of relevant experience. You are willing to work in a startup with a fast-paced environment and use your problem-solving skills when facing challenges. In addition, we value the following qualifications and competencies:
- Organisational talent and a strong sense of ownership
- Persistence and a positive attitude
- Ability to work methodically and meet deadlines
- Fluent in English
- Based in Copenhagen
- Experience with BusinessCentral is a plus
