Help Desk Technician [United States]


 

The Position

Arrowhead Pharmaceuticals is seeking a Help Desk Technician to join the Information Technology department at our Pasadena, CA location. The successful candidate will be the primary point of contact for employees seeking help desk support and will focus on providing Tier I/II tech support of a Windows based network as well as stellar customer service. They will be joining a team of highly motivated and experienced IT professionals and will contribute to the success of Arrowhead programs.

Responsibilities

  • Frontline Help Desk support for all on-site and remote users, fielding tickets via Fresh Service and remote access tools
  • Maintaining PC life cycle – imaging, deploying, migrating, retiring PCs
  • Maintain IT equipment inventory
  • Address employee’s questions surrounding Windows 10, Office 365 and mobile devices
  • Troubleshoot network connectivity issues
  • Troubleshoot VOIP phone issues
  • Upholding acceptable usage policies as outlined by the company handbook
  • Upholding IT security best practices outlined by the IT department
  • Assist IT management with physical networking tasks on occasion
  • Support and troubleshoot video conferencing technologies on PCs and in conference room environments
  • Light Active Directory administration

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Windows 10 in an Active Directory Domain setting
  • Proficiency in enterprise computer image deployment tools
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365 desktop applications
  • Proficiency using remote support tools such as LogMeIn, Goverlan
  • Proficiency in troubleshooting TCP IP v 4 network issues
  • Excellent customer service skills
