Our client is a leading beverage brand and functional drink manufacturing. The company is looking for a suitable candidate for the position of QA Manager for their new OEM plant in Nepal.
Job Description:
- Being responsible for overall Quality, covering product quality, production process quality, and associated systems, as well as product quality and packaging quality for the new OEM beverage manufacturing plant.
- Ensuring quality standards meet the requirements and principles of the company.
- Developing, implementing and managing processes to ensure that products meet required specifications for quality, function, and reliability prior to delivery.
- Identifying and setting appropriate quality standards and parameters for products.
- Communicating quality standards and parameters to the QA team, Production team, and Product Development team, and other appropriate staff.
- Identifying and analyzing issues, problems, defects, and other issues, particularly when problems recur in multiple products, and recommending and facilitating solutions to these issues.
- Maintaining compliance with federal, state, local, and organizational laws, regulations, guidelines, and policies.
- Performing other duties as assigned.
- Keeping updated on ISO9001, GHPs and HACCP as well as controlling & monitoring QA documentation and paper works covering HACCP plans, Quality plans, SP,, WI, and others.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s or higher in Food Science and Technology or a related field.
- A minimum of 10 year experience from food & beverage manufacturing, covering QC, QA or Quality Systems, including GHPs, HACCP, ISO22000, FSSC22000,Halal,Hal-Q.
- Solid skills of quality management systems, communication, coaching, monitoring / data analysis and reporting.
- Must be able to be based in Nepal (for at least 2 years).
- Good English communication skills and a good influencer.
