About the role:
Seeking an experienced and motivated cleaner to join our team in Geelong. We have two part time roles available in Nangatta and Murray. You will need to have availabilty to work Monday, Wednesday, Friday and Sunday
- Ensure that all areas of the residence are kept hygienic and presentable
- Contribute to a comfortable, welcoming environment for residents, staff and visitors.
- Cleaning in line with all chemical and infection control requirements and accreditation standards
- Ensuring resident privacy and dignity is always maintained
- Identify and report maintenance issues for our residents, ensuring they are escalated in a timely manner.
About you:
You are passionate about what you do and want to make a difference in the lives of our residents/clients, you also:
- Demonstrate a high level of kindness and respect for residents’ property and privacy
- Have previous experience cleaning in a large organisation or commercial environment (preferred but not essential)
- Have sound knowledge of OH&S procedures, relevant chemicals and safe work practices (preferred but not essential)
- An understanding of infection control procedures
- Work effectively and efficiently with minimal supervision as required and as part of a team

Essentials for working in Aged Care:
- A current Working With Children & Vulnerable People card
- Current and ongoing flu and COVID-19 Vaccinations
- Australian working rights
- Ability to pass a national police clearance
