Responsibilities
- Acting in the capacity of the Service Area supervisor in the supervisor's absence or as directed, ensuring compliance with rules, procedures, and processes established by safety, service, and system reporting (work permits, FR forms, safety alerts, etc.)
- Achieve quality, cost, and delivery goals established by Service needs and targets
- Perform aspects of solving problems related to repairs, repair disposition, equipment troubleshooting, and service also, supporting on-site troubleshooting or coordination if needed
- Ensuring compliance with preventive/predictive maintenance inspections and other inspection requirements also, acting as the liaison with internal departments (i.e., technical support, P&C, Safety, etc.)
- Prepare and conduct briefings on maintenance performance, status, and safety including monitoring technician's performance and task execution to ensure effective cost control
- Identify problem areas, develop corrective actions, and initiate corrective action through Service Area Supervisor, and oversee the Technician's daily work output, to assure maintenance and repair standards
- Provide assistance and training to employees in technical skills, operating procedures, and safety practices. Support and propose interpersonal skills development, competencies, and training actions
Qualifications
- A Technical Degree in Electronics/Mechanical Technology plus 6 years of professional experience in Vesta's operations centers
- Recommended to have knowledge of and teaching experience with troubleshooting techniques, including the use of schematic drawings and interpretations
- Ability to take decisions and problem-solving, monitor processes and materials, and evaluate turbines performance to ensure conformity to service goals and standards
- High contribution to increasing efficiency in minor/major work tasks
- Vestas Ambassador influencing other behaviors
