
Sugar Bowl Resort is looking for a friendly and responsible Hotel Front Desk Agent to handle all hotel guest check in/checkouts and other related guest charges. The Hotel Front Desk Agent will handle telephone and reservations inquiries for both hotel rooms and property rentals accurately, efficiently, courteously, promptly and professionally while promoting hotel services and ensuring maximum room revenues. While maintaining a professional image you will be required to identify, show sensitivity and respond to our guests needs safely and promptly to ensure complete satisfaction to all our guests. This is a seasonal, part time role. Employee housing available.
QUALIFICATIONS:
High School Diploma or equivalent
Previous Hospitality experience/training advantageous
Must be able to work as part of a dynamic quality driven team
Must be able to work in a high paced environment
Must be able read, write and speak English fluently
Must be able to make simple arithmetic computations
Must be able to understand written and verbal direction
Must have a great speaking voice and excellent telephone etiquette
Must have an excellent customer service experience
Must have knowledge of the surrounding area
Previous property management system experience advantageous
Must have excellent organizational skills
Must be able to work shifts, mornings or nights, including weekends and holidays
Must be able to work independently
Must be able to lift 20-50 pounds
DUTIES INCLUDE BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO THE FOLLOWING:
Answering the telephone and making reservations
Processing deposits and cancellations
Reservations
Guest correspondence
Handling complaints
Generating reports
Check in / check out
Assisting guests with concierge services
Relaying messages to guests
Greeting all guests in a cheerful manner
Responding to emergency procedures
Promoting the Hotel / Resort
Some cleaning of the hotel common areas
Some housekeeping duties as needed
Be ready to help other departments as needed
