MET International AG (METI) was established in 2010 in order to consolidate and develop MET Group’s international natural gas sales and purchase portfolio, as well as to establish a trading arm for commodity lines.
METI is responsible for providing highly competitive supply structures to its gas and power sales affiliates, originating additional positions on the European wholesale and the international LNG markets, as well as trading around international positions. Besides being the business consolidator of the entire MET Group, METI is the sole interface and trading arm towards Western European markets via natural gas and power trading on liquid trading hubs, wholesale origination and logistics services.
You will be responsible for managing the recruitment process for various roles within the company, both front office and support functions. Reporting directly to the Head of HR, the successful candidate will work closely with hiring managers to understand the specific job requirements and develop effective recruitment strategies to attract, assess and hire the best talent.
- Develop and execute recruitment strategies to attract top talent across various positions and levels
- Identify and actively source potential candidates through various sourcing channels, including online job boards, social media, referrals, and networking
- Partner with hiring managers to understand their hiring needs and develop job descriptions that accurately reflect job requirements
- Coordinate and manage interviews with hiring managers
- Prepare offer letters and conduct reference checks and background checks as needed.
- Ensure a positive candidate experience throughout the recruitment process and contribute to employer branding activities
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field
- 3-5+ years of experience in recruitment, with a focus on energy or commodity trading
- Ability to manage multiple recruitment processes simultaneously whilst maintaining high-quality outputs
- Experience with recruitment tools and applicant tracking systems
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, ability to build meaningful rapport with candidates and internal stakeholders
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced and growing environment, desire to establish yourself as a reliable and trusted partner to management in growing their teams effectively
