Overview
This is one of the growing global private bank in Hong Kong with strong brand name in Asia. They are currently looking for a Team Head of Operation to supervise and perform their settlement & process cycle.
Role Responsibilities
- You will be responsible the Settlement Team accurately and timely process and settle all transactions arising.
- Leading a small team and perform full settlement and process cycles for products include collective investment schemes, fixed income, equities and private credit/equity products.
- Looking after trade booking, initiating settlement instructions, verification, payment processing, reconciliation, event notification as well as the issuance of trade advice/contract note and monthly statement
- Collaborate with internal stakeholder to minimize operational risks
- You will review, design and renovate settlement operation processes to ensure that everything is in compliance with regulatory requirements
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree preferably in Business Administration, Finance, Economics or related disciplines
- You will need minimum of 10 years of working expereince in banking industry, with experience looking after settlement operation.
- Good knowledge in HKMA and SFC regulatory requirements
- Team player, self-motivated and attention to detail
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills in stakeholders' management
- Advanced skills in Microsoft Office; specifically, Word and Excel
- Excellent communication skills in both English and Cantonese
