Job Title: Cafeteria Manager
Job Description:
The Cafeteria Manager is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the cafeteria or food service establishment. The Cafeteria Manager also handles administrative tasks, budgeting, inventory management, and ensures compliance with health and safety regulations.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Manage daily cafeteria operations, including food preparation, service, and clean-up.
- Supervise and train cafeteria staff, including hiring, scheduling, and performance evaluation.
- Monitor food inventory, order supplies, and maintain appropriate stock levels.
- Manage cash handling procedures, including cashier duties and reconciliation of sales.
- Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and feedback, and resolve issues promptly and professionally.
- Collaborate with vendors and suppliers, negotiate contracts, and maintain good relationships.
- Monitor and control expenses, prepare budgets, and analyze financial reports.
- Implement and enforce cafeteria policies, procedures, and standards.
- Conduct staff meetings, training sessions, and workshops to enhance skills and knowledge.
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Cafeteria Manager or in a similar role(Min. Experience 1-3 years)
- Strong knowledge of food service operations, including food preparation, safety, and sanitation
- Excellent leadership and managerial skills to supervise and motivate cafeteria staff
- Knowledge of relevant health and safety regulations.
- Malayalam/Hindi Speakers are highly preferred
Job Type: Full-time
Salary: AED2,000.00 - AED2,500.00 per month
