Job Description

  • Assist the Director in setting strategic goals and objectives for the company and drive their implementation.
  • Provide effective leadership to department heads and teams, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement.
  • Oversee and coordinate the work of different departments, ensuring alignment with the company's goals and objectives.
  • Collaborate with the General Manager in decision-making, policy development, and resource allocation.
  • Monitor and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs), operational metrics, and financial data to identify areas for improvement and optimize business processes.
  • Develop and implement strategies to enhance operational efficiency, productivity, and cost-effectiveness across departments.
  • Ensure compliance with industry regulations, quality standards, and health and safety guidelines.
  • Implement best practices in project management, procurement, inventory management, and supply chain operations.
  • Contribute to the development and execution of the company's business development and growth strategies.
  • Identify new market opportunities, potential clients, and partnerships to expand the company's customer base and revenue streams.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including customers, suppliers, industry associations, and government agencies.
  • Stay updated on market trends, industry developments, and competitive landscape to inform strategic decision-making.
  • Ensure exceptional customer satisfaction by maintaining strong relationships with key clients, addressing their concerns, and resolving issues in a timely manner.
  • Collaborate with the sales and marketing teams to understand customer needs, market trends, and product/service enhancements.
  • Support the development and implementation of customer-centric initiatives to drive customer retention and loyalty.

The Successful Applicant

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field. A Master's degree is a plus.
  • Proven experience in a managerial role within the industrial machineries sector.
  • Strong knowledge of industrial machineries, manufacturing processes, and engineering principles.
  • Excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate others.
  • Strategic thinking and decision-making abilities.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Proficiency in using relevant software and tools.
  • Familiarity with industry regulations and standards.
