Responsibilities:

Research and Development:

Conduct research and development activities in biotechnology, focusing on areas relevant to the Indian context.
Design and execute experiments, analyze data, and interpret results to develop innovative solutions and technologies.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and academic institutions to explore new applications and advancements in biotechnology.

Agricultural Biotechnology:

Contribute to the development and improvement of crop varieties for enhanced yield, pest resistance, and nutritional content.
Implement biotechnological interventions to address specific challenges in Indian agriculture, such as drought tolerance and disease resistance.
Collaborate with farmers, agricultural experts, and government bodies to promote the adoption of biotechnology in agriculture.

Healthcare Biotechnology:

Contribute to the development of biopharmaceuticals, diagnostics, and therapeutic solutions for prevalent diseases in India.
Participate in research projects focused on personalized medicine, precision diagnostics, and targeted therapies.
Collaborate with healthcare institutions, pharmaceutical companies, and regulatory bodies to ensure safe and effective healthcare biotechnology solutions.

Collaboration and Knowledge Sharing:Collaborate with industry partners, research institutions, and government agencies to drive collaborative projects and initiatives.
Share knowledge, expertise, and research findings through scientific publications, presentations, and conferences.
Mentor and guide junior researchers and students in biotechnological research and development.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's, Master's, or Ph.D. degree in Biotechnology, Bioengineering, Molecular Biology, or a related field.
  • Strong knowledge of biotechnological principles, techniques, and methodologies.
  • Familiarity with the Indian agricultural, healthcare, and environmental contexts.
  • Experience in biotechnological research and development, preferably in an Indian setting.
  • Proficiency in laboratory techniques, such as DNA manipulation, protein expression, and cell culture.
  • Understanding of Indian regulatory guidelines and compliance requirements in biotechnology.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills.
  • Strong collaboration and communication abilities to work effectively in multidisciplinary teams.
  • Research publication record and participation in scientific conferences is desirable.
  • Awareness of the social, ethical, and environmental implications of biotechnology.

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: ₹500,000.00 - ₹600,000.00 per month
