Job Summary:
The Trainee Software Developer is an entry-level position responsible for learning and developing software applications. He will work under the guidance of senior developers and team leaders to develop and implement software solutions, test software applications, and provide support to end-users.
Key Responsibilities:
Work with senior developers and team leaders to learn software development best practices and methodologies.
- Design, develop, test and maintain software applications.
- Write code and maintain proper documentation for software development projects.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, develop and test software applications.
- Troubleshoot and debug software issues in a timely manner.
- Participate in code reviews and provide feedback to other team members.
- Support end-users by providing technical assistance and resolving software issues.
- Continuously learn and keep up-to-date with new technologies, software development tools and techniques.
- Participate in software development meetings, brainstorming sessions and team-building activities.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or related field.
- Good understanding of programming languages / Frameworks such as PHP, MySql, HTML, CSS, JQuery / Laravel, CodeIgniter, Vue.js or React.js .
- Knowledge of software development methodologies such as Agile, Scrum, and Waterfall.
- Familiarity with software development tools such as Git, VS Code, Sublime.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to learn quickly and adapt to new technologies.
- Strong work ethic and desire to excel.
