Essential Functions
- Should have basic mechanical, electrical, hydraulic & pneumatic knowledge.
- Carry out preventive maintenance of all machines and equipment as per maintenance plan/schedule in supervision with Technician/Supervisor.
- Responsible for safekeeping of maintenance hand tools and equipment.
- Coordinates with department employees in the daily jobs.
- Adhere to all safety standards, policies & procedures, codes of conduct and best practices.
- Be able to take direction and follow instructions.
- Effective problem-solving abilities.
- Identifies faulty equipment through observation and testing with direction from experienced Maintenance Mechanic
- Performs minor repairs, progressing to more complicated repairs, during time on the job
- Accountable for properly maintaining records and logs for items

Education/ Professional Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent education level, as a minimum; advanced technical or college training preferred; willing to further education through classes pertaining to the business
