Meat to please you! At The Vegetarian Butcher we’re looking for new ‘meat on the block’ to join us in the biggest food revolution of all times.
On October 4th 2010 (on world animal day) Jaap Korteweg, 9th generation farmer and meat lover, founded The Vegetarian Butcher. Together with a devoted team of chefs and scientists he created innovate and sustainable meat successors directly from beans and legumes. Great tasting meat products, perfect i-meat-ations in flavour, texture and juiciness, but without the use of animal meat itself.

Since Unilever acquired the company end of 2018 they have been part of this mission and committed to accelerate the biggest food revolution of all time. Since the acquisition of the TVB by Unilever, the company is scaling up fast. In this journey at exponential pace, we are looking for a Customer Service & Logistics Specialist who has the passion to help us change the world!
WHAT WILL YOUR MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES BE?
As a Customer Service & Logistics Specialist, you will be mainly responsible for the OTIF deliveries to our global customers and create the supply plan for them. You will be maintaining contact with customers and our manufacturing partners, participating in and leading various improvement programmes. You will be working very close with the Category Planner. You are matching the supply with customer demand.
- Making sure all orders are delivered on time in full towards our customers;
- Maintaining good contacts with the various stakeholders. Proactively informing customers about (abnormal) deliveries and delivery times (customer service role). You will be responsible for maintaining the correct stocks at our 3PM’s and our warehouse.
- Managing the order flow for QSR customer and administrative tasks that comes with it;
- This includes pricing, setting up new customers, credit notes and invoicing
- Responsible for the full export process of our oversees customers;
- Pro-actively signal risk and take the necessary actions to minimize, when needed find the right stakeholders to support;
- Manage the in/out flow of renovations/innovations towards our customers and warehouse;
- Preparing periodic reports;
- Contributing to and leading (improvement) projects regarding the supply chain.
- Implementing the correct and extracting the correct info in/from SAP/Kinaxis (Rapid Response) for the Planning department;
- Determine and improve the optimal supply chain;
- Optimising these in cooperation with various internal & external stakeholders, in order to achieve OTIF delivery to our customers;
- Developing and implementing (sub)projects for your own area of focus;
- Continuously playing an active role in identifying poorly performing processes and making and implementing proposals for improvement;
- Translating the needs of internal and external customers into the process.

- Fluent in English, both verbally and in writing, preferable Dutch
- Software knowledge and experience (MS Office, SAP, Kinaxis, Power BI)
- Kinaxis experience is a specific advantage
