We’re opening the position of QA/Automation QA Engineer to create a new team in the project of our customers. The customer-focused team offers cutting-edge SAAS solutions to help businesses optimize their operations. Responsibilities:
- Collaborating with the development team to understand requirements and create test cases for manual and automated testing
- Writing and executing manual and automated test cases to ensure that software products meet high-quality standards
- Identifying and reporting defects, tracking their status, and working with the development team to resolve them
- Setting up and maintaining test environments, including test data, test machines, and test tools
- Working with API testing tools like Postman to automate API testing
- Utilizing web automation tools like Web Driver IO to automate UI testing
- Analyzing test results and providing feedback to the development team
- Continuously improving testing processes and methodologies
- Collaborating with other members of the scrum team, including developers, product owners, and scrum masters, to ensure that the product meets quality standards
Requirements:
- 3+ years of commercial experience in IT industry
- Experience in manual and (Java) automation testing of web applications, and APIs
- Experience in testing APIs using tools like Postman and should be able to create and execute API test cases
- Familiar with testing tools like JIRA, Postman, WebDriver IO
- Knowledge of automation testing frameworks such as TestNG, and JUnit
- Familiar with agile methodologies and ability to work in a Scrum team
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to identify and debug issues
- Excellent communication skills and should be able to effectively communicate with the development team, product owners, and other stakeholders
- Have a keen eye for detail and should be able to identify even minor issues in the product
- English level – Upper-Intermediate and higher
