Our client is currently seeking an experienced Software Engineering Manager to join their International Language Campuses technology team. This is a fantastic opportunity to work with a team of talented developers and lead the development of core systems that support Sales and Production.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with the business line to understand requirements and manage systems
- Lead, coach and mentor team members to help them grow
- Own the delivery of systems and serve as the technical reference figure
- Ensure teams follow technical Road-maps and Engineering Strategic Principles
- Collaborate with other teams/ systems to support and promote architectural choices
- Select and hire team members to build a community of exceptional software engineers
- Provide recommendations and enforce compliance to best practises in software development
Requriements:
- At least 5 years of experience as a Team Leader or in a similar manager role with a team of at least 5 people
- BSc or MSc in Computer Science
- 7+ years of working in Software Development of complex business-critical industry solutions
- Strong background and hands-on experience in .NET / TypeScript/ Node.js
- hands-on experience developing web-services and Rest API
- Experienced in AWS Cloud environment
- Strong communication skills in English
- You are willing to work 3 days per week in the office and travel on occasion
