Missions
As Engineering Product Manager, you will be a part of the core project team and coordinate specialists and experts of extended team. You will be responsible for development of design, validation and tooling for a new product. You will ensure communication and contact with customer linked to product development and validation
Your main responsibilities will be to:
- Provide criteria for the proper design to meet the requirements of the manufacturing process
- Make recommendations that will improve the design of product or process
- Ensure the product meets the cost and through-put requirements quoted
- Communicate changes in the design to affected team members
- Provide numerical data for suppliers to manufacture tooling, fixtures and assembly aides
- Oversee mold concept, design, manufacture and acceptance
- Oversee manufacture, assembly and validation of prototype parts
Profile
- University degree (technical, engineering field), specialization in mechanics ideally
- English language – advanced
- 5 year experience in plastic parts/product development, validation and injection molding (experience in automotive industry is an added advantage)
- Good communication skills, team leader
- Willingness to travel
