What We are Looking For
An experienced Warehouse Operative to join our busy team in Ballymount, Dublin 12.
What You will Do
- Picking goods for order assembly from both paper and electronic scanning as instructed by supervisors/team leaders and following the process and procedures of their training to a high standard
- Re-packing goods appropriately as instructed by supervisors/team leaders.
- Housekeeping and Hygiene – ensuring that all designated areas are kept free of debris and breakages, using appropriate equipment.
- Loading staff – ensuring that trucks and containers are loaded in a timely and efficient manner in line with the priorities of the orders being processed.
- Co-Packing staff – ensuring that orders are processed as directed by the supervisor and that the work flows smoothly on the production line.
- Powered Pallet Training – all picking staff prior to working in the warehouse
- Manual Handling Training – all warehouse staff prior to working in the warehouse
- All Warehouse Operatives to wear High Visibility Jackets and Safety Shoes
- Making sure orders are built onto correct pallets in a safe manner.
- Health & Safety conscious in the warehouse
- Meet targets for picking cases/orders. Mon to Thurs 1311 cases per day & 1155 cases on a Friday
- Work within a team in the warehouse to achieve 98.5% service level.
- Work within different sectors of the warehouse, picking, cleaning, loading etc.
What You will Have
- Previous experience working in a warehouse/packaging environment
- Ability to complete documentation
- Manual Handling/Power Pallet Truck
- Attention to detail
- Get it right first-time attitude
- Experience within the FMCG industry
- Ability to work in a repetitive work environment
- Ability to work as part of a team and individually
- Voice picking
