Ericsson Network Manager (OSS) - Support Engineer [Mexico]


 

About this opportunity


We are now looking for ENM (Ericcson Network Manager) / OSS (Operational Support System) Support Engineers to join our great team located in Queretaro, Mexico City & Brazil. In this role you'll provide technical service and support to our customers. Also you will fix and solve problems to stabilize customer networks. You will configure and troubleshoot different nodes and solutions in new and live customer networks.


The ENM/OSS Support Engineer typically interacts with customer technical staff, operation managers, service engineers and other groups within the Service Delivery organization. You may also interact with groups in sales, Research & Development, 3rd party suppliers and local authorities.

What you will do


  • Troubleshoot Customer’s Network problems
  • Fault Detection & Isolation capability
  • Provide attention for emergencies (on call /ROTA)
  • Interact with global customers
  • Learn about Ericsson’s & Industry newest products/solutions


You will bring


Key Qualifications:


  • Bachelor’s degree on engineering related to telecommunications
  • 2 years of experience minimum as Support Engineer / Troubleshooter / Integration Engineer (at OSS / Network Management System / BSS / Cloud, etc)
  • Proficiency in English & Spanish (Conversational/Written and Technical)
  • Experience as System Administrator in Linux/VMware environments
  • Databases experience/knowledge (for example: Versant, Postgress, MySQL or any other)
  • Customer Service Oriented
  • Great Attitude for teamwork, collaboration and Self Learning
  • Leadership
  • Ownership


It would be a plus if you have:


  • Experience with Shell and SQL scripting
  • Knowledge of Virtual Machines/Dockers-Kubernetes
  • Knowledge of NAS, SAN concepts (Time controllers)
  • Knowledge of TCP/IP
  • Experience in Veritas Suite (Veritas Access)
